Zela is built so people can discover a product or service, talk to the vendor, agree a private price in chat, and still pay inside Zela. The public listing stays the same for everyone else.
Step 1
Browse the Zela feed, Near You map, products, services, and vendor shops. Public prices stay visible to everyone.
Step 2
Message a verified vendor about size, pickup, delivery, or availability. Normal conversation stays in Zela Chat.
Step 3
Send or receive a private offer for a product or service. The public listing price does not change.
Step 4
Accept, counter, or decline inside the same conversation. The agreed price is locked to that offer only.
Step 5
Buy or book at the agreed price through Zela checkout or the service booking flow. Zela never asks you to pay the vendor outside the app.
Step 6
Pay with MTN Mobile Money or Orange Money. Funds are held in escrow until the order or booking is confirmed.
Step 7
The vendor receives a normal Zela order or booking that references the offer. You can track it from your account.
Step 8
After you receive the item or service, confirm and leave a review so the next shopper can trust the vendor.
Find a laptop, a dress, or birthday photography. Ask the vendor in chat. If 130,000 FCFA feels high, make an offer for 120,000 FCFA. When the vendor accepts, tap Buy or Book. Checkout shows the original price, the agreed price, and the discount. You pay Zela, not the vendor's personal number.
Keep your shop price at 130,000 FCFA. If one buyer asks for 120k, send them a special offer from chat. Other customers still see 130k. When they pay, you receive a normal Zela order. Do not move the sale off the platform.
